  TA300 Brief description                                                                                                                                  

The TA300 is a tachometer specially designed for use in diesel engines equipped with fuel injection pump and individual fuel injection lines. It uses a piezoelectric transducer clamp which is placed on one of the fuel lines for sensing the pulses caused by the surge of fuel pressure in it, and using these pulses to measure the RPM of the engine.

For maximum flexibility, the TA300 allows the user to adjust the sensitivity and threshold level of the piezoelectric sensor signal in order to adapt to a variety of engines and measurement conditions.

The TA300 is supplied with a 6' (1.8 m) sensor cable and universal piezoelectric sensor clamp suitable for 1/4" and 6 mm diameter fuel injection lines. Other sizes of piezoelectric sensor clamps are also available under special order.

Simple and easy to use

• Tachometer: Simply place the piezoelectric sensor on a fuel injection line of the Diesel engine

• Minimum and Maximum display: Two secondary displays show in real time the maximum and minimum readings

• Adjustable threshold and sensitivity level: allows for compensation of weak and/or noisy signal.
